Overview: Hello! My name is Kellen Levinson. I grew up in Herndon, VA where I worked on a farm caring for companion animals, livestock, and leading a livestock 4H club. I graduated from Virginia Tech with a degree in Animal & Poultry Science and have been working on a graduate degree in the same department for the last 3 years. I am currently taking a break from school during the covid crisis, and am looking to provide my animal skills to those needing care for their pets and livestock. Description of Skills: I have experience with paid dog walking and have walked large and small dogs with a variety of training and leads. I am capable of general animal care for most companion species and have specialized training for large animals, livestock and farm species, as well as exotics. I have worked in exotic pet stores and personally care for my own large reptiles. I am comfortable and experienced in giving medication, pills for cats and dogs, and injections of medication in all species, including reptiles. I have been working with livestock since the age of 9 and have had copious hands-on experience throughout high school and college with a wide variety of animals. The only species I do not have specific training or experience with are fish and some avians. I have also not worked with dogs that have aggression issues, which I feel is a niche skill and would require discussion. I can provide overnight care, dog walking, assist in giving medication, playing, companionship, basic training, and maintenance of whatever animal you may have.
