Pet Sitter in Salt Lake City, Utah

I'm an
Individual
Hello! I am 17 years old, turning 18 in a few months, and I love animals. Right now I am really into dog training and plan on training a papillon at my mother's nursing home job. This should help me get more experience in training dogs plus I love training them. So much that I am planning to go to a dog training college to become a certified dog trainer. Other than the papillon I have trained a lab/aussie mix who was 8 years old and only knew sit and laydown when I met her. I taught her crawl, right/left paw, right/left spin, up(stand up on hind legs), side(lay on side), walk camly on a leash, leave it, come, say bye(waved paw), touch, back up, and a few other tricks. Zoey wasn't my dog so when I left I didn't finish teaching her some other tricks. These tricks included; play dead/dead dog, pray, sit pretty, leg weaving, sit/down stay, hand stand, and a few more. Other than that I have trained a Catahoula Leopard Dog puppy, who was mine, sadly I only had her for a couple of days before someone stole her. I also had a Chihuahua mix puppy who would jump onto my blanket when I drug it somewhere to get a ride. This was before I was a teenager, as a teenager I had my Catahoula Leopard Dog. I have also taken care of many strays and took them inside for baths without asking my mom, when I was younger. I also let strays sleep in my room as a little kid. As you can tell I really love dogs. My first pet was a kitten, I have had a few other cats since then. Mostly strays I got from the street. I have litter trained an adult cat who would go anywhere by quickly carrying him to the litter box, as a little kid, even though he was about half my size. I like birds, however I'm not really into holding them or feeding them. I would not like to have my finger bitten off. I'm fine with rodents as long as they are not biters. I still might help you but put gloves on when handling. I have been walking dogs ever since I was a little kid. My first was a German Shepherd, who was my brother's dog. Even if the dog gets off leash I will try my all/best to get the dog back. If calling doesn't work I will continue following the dog until it is no longer in sight. Even then I might not stop looking. I don't walk unless I make the dog run more when he/she sees me running. I will make sure this doesn't happen by having a tight hold on the leash and other precautions. I am very comfortable with lizards and nonvenomous snakes. I have no fear in handling these creatures nor feeding them. Contact me at my email please: [email protected]
