I am a licensed clinical therapist who recognizes the strong bod between pets and humans. I view our animals not as our property but instead, their car takers and it is privilege to share the bond between cats, dogs, etc. The are sensate beings who depend on us not just for food, but kindness, and nurturing. I miss our border collie (lived till 14). He was the best dog in the world. We are not able to replace him as his passing is still to fresh. Nonetheless, we love being around other dogs an recognize the attachment,especially when their humans must leave them for a time. I am responsible and would love your dog to the best of my ability to soften the pain of separation.
