Hello, My name is Hilary Gandara, and I would love to take care of your dog, cat, bird, fish, amphibian, or reptile. Growing up, my family were pet parents to all of these animal types. At one time, we had in our home 2 dogs, 4 cats, a boa constrictor, a bearded dragon, and a lovebird. We also had during various times finches, tree frogs, rats, hamsters, and an iguana. I desperately wanted a bunny but I suppose my parents felt they had to draw the line somewhere. As an adult, I mostly have been pet parents to cats (not because I do not love dogs but I believe that one needs to had adequate space and time to accommodate one and for most of my adult life, I have not.) My baby boy is an an 11 yr old Scottish Fold cat named Edgar, who I've had with me since he was a kitten. I am accustomed to giving pills, cleaning up poo and pee messes, cleaning litter boxes, cleaning tear stained faces and poop stained butts, to be completely frank. I love animals, and treat them as if they were my own. I used to work in a store that allowed dogs, and many owners would comment how their dog would take to me, "Oh, he rarely does that to anyone, only people he really likes." I've watched my friend's and neighbor's cats and dogs on multiple occasions. In fact, when my best friend's sister was getting married out of state, she asked that my wedding gift to her would be to stay home and take care of her cat and elderly dog, as she did not trust them with anyone else but me. I also worked for a doggie day care center for about 6 months in Scottsdale, AZ.
