I met heather while she was working at the Humane society as an adoption counselor. I adopted my Pitbull three years ago as a puppy and she was the most loveable, dog friendly pup that I have ever seen. But within the last two years Rory tore both her CCLs (cruciate ligaments) and had to have surgery, and in turn was house bound for 6 months each time. During that time, she developed leash frustration and barrier frustration, and now she is very picky about the dogs she meets. She even has difficulty going for walks because she becomes so focused on other dogs and often barks and lunges. I love my dog and I consider Rory my child. Since she is a Pitbull, I constantly worry about her being labeled as a “dangerous dog” for something stupid reason like having someone else’s dog off leash walk up to Rory, or having a dog owner try to introduce their dog to Rory on leash without permission. I knew I needed someone with the training and experience to make sure no human errors cause my baby to get in trouble. I found that heather was on Wag and was so happy to know that I could trust my baby’s life in her hands. Heather has known Rory for over 2 years, and has been walking her 3x a wee, and house sitting for companionship while were away for over six months now. Heather provides rewards based training to help Rory focus her attention during walks and day outings. I found that Heather can see situations in advance that may frustrate Rory or make her likely to be uncomfortable, and in turn, heather will actively work to avoid putting Rory in harms path. I absolutely love heather and seriously would not call anyone else. Heather is the complete package. She is trust worthy, knowledgeable, loves animals, can teach tricks, knows how to administer medicine, and most importantly knows animal behavior. Christine

Heather Lopez has been cat sitting for us for the last two years. She is reliable and thorough, and both of our kitties – even the shy one – love her. It's awesome to go out of town and know that we will come home to tidy litter boxes and happy kitties!
