Pet Sitter in Golden, Colorado

Hello! Farrin here. I have been surrounded by animals, namely dogs and cats, caring for and playing with furry friends since I was able to crawl. My best memories include a dog by my side walking dirt roads, fishing on the lake, and taking road trips. I have cared for puppies as well as mature canines and everything in between. I am currently educating myself in all things canine behavior including how dogs learn, the science behind canine behavior, and understanding the importance of positive reinforcement and rewards-based training. I have a Psychology degree and some of my education has been based in behavior modification, but there is always more to learn. I aim to become a certified dog trainer and continue my education for many years to come as research and new information is always becoming available. I strive to communicate effectively with pet parents including behaviors I observe during my visits and what I plan to do and where I plan to go with your canine companion if I am taking your dog(s) for walks. Ultimately, I would like to build long standing relationships with pet owners and their canine companions. I am currently available for check-ins, house/dog sitting, and dog walking in Golden, Colorado or within a 20 min drive of the area.
