I've always had a strong rapport with animals. In my adult life, I once studied biology as my major with an emphasis on animal behavior and psychology . My friends and neighbors are always amazed at how quickly their pets establish a trusting relationship with me. For years, my next-door neighbors retriever-lab mix would come over and sit with me if there was a thunder storm in the area. I once met a retired biology teacher, who had a permit to keep a timber wolf in a enclosure on his property. He commented to me he had never seen his wolf take to a person like she did with me. She spent the day following me everywhere and liked resting her huge head in my lap to have her ears scratched. The only animal I don't have much experience with are horses, but I'm sure they'll take to me like all the other animals. I'm not vey knowledgeable about grooming animals, but I excel at companionship and walking, etc.
