Pet Sitter in Summerville, South Carolina

I'm an
Individual
Hello, my name is Cheyenne. I am fourteen years old, but I'm not your stereotypical, immature high school student. I am looking for good, honest work where I can earn money to buy my own things, spoil my two dogs, and save it for the future. What can I do for you? How To Contact Me: Please, ONLY Send an email at [email protected] or directly text me at 843-494-....I do not have a monthly subscription and CANNOT see messages in my inbox. Services And Training: I will take care of feeding, administering medication, and animal care. I can teach basic commands such as sit, lie down, and stay by memory, but I can work on any trick with a YouTube video and time. I can pet sit any pet that is not people aggressive as long as I am provided any of their medications and their food. I can also walk dogs, but if the dog is bigger than 70lbs and not leash-trained, it is likely I will not be able to handle them. I can also bathe dogs and treat them for fleas with soaps and combs, but I am no means a professional groomer. I can also clean basic elements of a fish tank, scoop litter, change rodent bedding, and feed just about any animal. Cost: Prices are negotiable. Pet sitting or walking is $10-$15 an hour depending on size and needs of said pet. More About Me: I am a freshman in high school. I am currently taking honors and AP classes with high and above average marks. I do not have a steady flow of income, so I have reached out to animal caretaking to attempt to earn some money. I do not receive an allowance. Many websites have declined me usage because I am not eighteen. Many people will shy away from a caretaker who is not legally an adult, especially because high school students get a bad rep, and I hate to say they deserve it. Many high school students are frivolous, inattentive, carefree, and immature teenagers. They say they are qualified to do something and then require others to do it for them. They are rarely given a good reputation, making it difficult for the mature, sophisticated, respectful and controlled students to get a foot in the job ladder, and I am no exception. Finding work as a minor is very difficult. I have two dogs at home: A coonhound and beagle rescue mix named Brownie, and a Cardigan Welsh Corgi-Beagle mix named Journey. Brownie is very mellow; we originally stopped at a shelter seven years ago to visit the dogs, when I fell in love with Brownie. She was going to be put down that day, so we begged my father to let us take her, as we only had one dog at the time. When we went back to the shelter, she was gone. They had sent her to a PetSmart for the last hours she'd be alive, and we adopted the sweet mix. Now she sleeps most of the day and has reached a senior age, and we will have her until she passes. We have a cat named Chinook, although we originally had two. A friend that was moving gave them two us; two 7-year-old Sphinx and Pointed Ragdoll cats named Chinook and Kahlua. Originally, they lived inside, but I took them outside one day. They begged to go outside and eventually became outdoor cats. Kahlua passed away, but Chinook still lives outside, wandering our property at his own leisure. Journey is our newest addition to our family. We adopted her from a local after six months of searching for a corgi, rescue or bred, for a low price. Even if she isn't a corgi, we still love her. We were forced to buy her from an individual, as no shelter would let us adopt from them due to the fact Brownie used to live outside. Journey is very hyper and always wants to eat. She plays almost twenty-four seven and then sleeps, lather rinse repeat. She is almost housebroken and is in the process of being trained. She loves all animals, but they often find her too high energy for them. As of 4/4/2019, she is almost a year old (her birthday is April 16th) I myself have raised animals all my life. I have raised puppies since they were born, senior dogs that were moments from death's door, juveniles, adults, you name it. I've done it all. I don't have more than a few years of experience with cats, but they're not very difficult to take care of. I have also owned two rabbits and a guinea pig. Most of my work is aimed towards dogs, but almost any animal I can handle.
