My wife (Robin) and I have been pet and housesitting all over the world for the past 2 years' and have recently moved back to the USA. During that time we've watched 20 homes in the USA, England, Scotland, the Netherlands, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, and Indonesia and have cared for 14 dogs of many different breeds, including: Jack Russell, Yorkshire Terrier, Rat Terrier, Boxer, Golden Labrador, Russian Spaniel, Corgi/Jack Russel mix, German Shepherd mix, Doberman Pinscher and Australian Shepherd. We've also cared for 33 cats, 2 chickens and 24 fish, and we're glad to say, that there's no pet or place we haven't loved on our travels and we've been asked to come back every time! Consequently, we have excellent references and would be happy to provide them on request. We are confident looking after animals with medical needs or conditions and have had direct experience of caring for pets with epilepsy, respiratory and skin infections, and eye and heart conditions. We have also hand reared abandoned kittens, and rescued stray cats and dogs. We're pretty handy too, and can tackle a range of DIY and gardening jobs and also know how to clean swimming pools, drain septic tanks and work water pumps. Both of us are car (automatic and manual) and scooter drivers, with clean international licenses. As we work online we are flexible in terms of where we can travel and how long we can stay for. Additionally, we would also be in the property and with your pets for most of the time, keeping it secure, giving them plenty of love, and sending you regular email and photo updates. Most importantly, we understand it is a big leap of faith to let a stranger into your home and leave them with your precious pets. Therefore we take the responsibility to love your pets and respect your property very seriously. This is why we always stay in constant touch while homeowners are away via email or WhatsApp, and before the sit, are willing to Skype, meet, or arrive a few days early.
