Hi - I live in Shoreline Circle - right off Central and the 603. I work from home - so your dog will not be alone. (If you are new to Rover - I have a discount code that will save you $20! Woot! More money for treats! Just ask me for the code before you book!) I have one dog - Minnie - who is great with others. She is submissive and very playful, she's a hound to the bone with boundless energy and LOVES company. I have been using Rover when I travel for 6 years so I thought I would offer up my services to folks in the BSL area as my travel schedule has decreased. I can come to your house for check-in/walk but prefer to have the dog in my home. If need be, I can pick-up and drop off. Early drop offs (6am) and late pick ups (to 11pm) are fine by me - the best part of coming home is getting the dog right?! Size doesn't matter - Minnie gets along with all sizes...from teeny-tiny to almost a pony! If need be, I can create separate quarters... cozy dog and human beds and the couch are all fair game. I sit just one dog at a time or dogs that are from the same family, and in my opinion it is less chaotic. Plus it allows me to pay more attention to your dog(s)... We walk at least once a day for 30-60 minutes and if your's is happy to do that - then we will get along great! If you have any special requirements/needs - just let me know. My goal is to ensure you have a worry free experience while your dog has a stress free experience as well... Visiting the area and just need daycare? Not a problem - if it helps I can do pick-up/drop-off (for $5/each direction) so you have more time to enjoy the sights! If you want to make a day trip to New Orleans - as mentioned early drop off (6am) and late night pick up (midnight) is fine with me. I have a large deck - 400 sf - and a portion of my hard is fenced yard - it faces the canal. However your dog(s) will not be outside without me being out there with them and never off leash outside the deck/fenced yard. That said - if you prefer your dog is never off-leash - no worries - just let me know what is most comfortable for you! Any questions - do not hesitate to ask. Pre-booking visits are very welcome but not necessary so long as we chat in advance. What I'd like to know about your dog... Let me know what you dog enjoys most - a certain toy, walks or playtime, sleeping on the bed or time/space to be alone. I'm happy to cater to their needs so that they have a great experience and you know they will get the kind of attention that gives them the most comfort.
