Application: Greetings! I am recently retired from the federal government, seeking petsitting and dog-walking positions primarily in Southeast and Northeast Portland. I am extremely responsible, reliable and honest and would love to look after and care for your best pal for you. My name is Pete. I am a very energetic and relatively youthful 60-year-old looking to create a new lifestyle working with pets. Service Abilities: I would love to take your dog on long walks in fun, wonderful places or wherever you might like me to take them. I love dogs and cats equally. Ideally, I'd like to find someone or a couple of folks to work for on a fairly regular basis. I am available for overnight care, preferably in your home, as my 17-year-old cat Theodore is pretty possessive of me. Me: I've lived most of my life here in Portland. I graduated from the University of Oregon in 1984, then worked at The Oregonian for 16 years before going to work for the federal government. I just retired following an 18-year career as a fed and am oh so ready to begin the next chapter. I walk a lot and would greatly enjoy taking your dog with me. I'm also perfectly content to hang around with your pet as long as needed and provide whatever attention or care might be required.
