I have volunteered at the St. Joseph County Humane Society for over a year now and have loved it. I have also fostered a kitten and had dogs my whole life. I love animals and want to continue working with them as I grow older. On top of this, I have also taken care of a few family friends dogs before and they said I did a great job. I usually try to get to a house by 8 to 9 in the morning if I am dog sitting and go over as often as I can. I play with them and give them attention so they don't get too lonely and I will take them on walks if wanted. I usually try to stay with them for over half an hour and either play with them or just relax so they have company.
