Pet Sitter in Bloomington, Indiana

I've always gotten along great with animals, and going into my senior year of highschool, I decided working with animals was the only thing I could see myself doing for the rest of my life. I signed up for a Veterinary Assisting vocational program through my high school, thrilled that such a class even existed. Through the vocational school, I learned basic animal medical care, got my first introduction to working with animals hands on, and even got the opportunity to complete 8 weeks of clinical practice at a local veterinary clinic. I graduated high school and the vocational program, and moved to Bloomington to start IU, ready for more experience in the animal-career world. After my first year at IU studying towards an animal behavior degree, I decided to put school on hold for the time being and started working full time. Fate must have been on my side, because my local pet store was hiring. I was hired as a bather to work in the Grooming Salon in November 2014, and it's easily the best job I've ever had. I get to work with so many different dogs on a daily basis and it couldn't make me happier. I hope to be sent to Grooming Academy soon and become a certified PetStylist. I'm currently living in Bloomington with my 6 month old calico, Willow, the love of my life. I'd like to gain as much experience working with animals as I possibly can, and I think in-home pet care and dog walking is an experience I'd love to add to my list. From daily walking&playing to in-home pet care, I'm here to help! Also willing to do various side jobs, such as errands and light cleaning. I have a pretty set work schedule during the week, will happily work around that schedule as best I can! I'm available all day on Saturdays and Sundays.
