Pet Sitter in Madison, Wisconsin

My name is Michael and I've moved back to Wisconsin (Madison) after living on the East Coast for 16 years pursuing a career as a Senior Clinical Applications Analyst (surgery software expert). It's great to be back and snow is no stranger to me because I grew up in Marinette (50 miles north of Green Bay). Over the years I've learned that making a difference in individuals lives is more important than earning a high salary with more stress and less of a life of your own. My wife is from Brasil and started working at UW-Madison recently, hence the move back to WI. I love dogs of all kinds. We own a shelter throwaway, a Pomeranian named Peaches. She's the one in my profile photo. The only dogs I shy away from are those dogs that at times prefer eating children. If you own one of these dogs I'm sorry to say that I'm not interested in finding out when it has decided that being a prisoner of a human being is not what it signed up for. I've been known to teach my dog Peaches some interesting tricks. I'd be happy to try to teach your dog(s) some tricks providing you provide the treats. I'm also a Freelance Photographer, so if you'd like photos of your pets or portraits with your pets we can arrange that as well. As I'm just starting out with dogwalking/dogsitting we can work out the arrangements beforehand so that there aren't any surprises. My fee is $25/hour for up to 2 dogs, then $10/hour for each additional dog. Traveling to your home is set at .55/per mile. I've kenneled my dog before, sometimes up to 10 days and the guilt is overwhelming. We all know that there isn't one worker per pet, so these animals are in cages most of the time at the kennel not even being talked to or pet. I live on the East Side near Cottage Grove, but will travel depending on the commute. I'm pretty flexible, time wise, not Yoga wise.
