Pet Sitter Job in Redwood City, California

Hi all, My Name is Kai and I am looking for someone to take care of my beloved 6.5 year old Labrador/pit-bull mix "Whiskey". I have a slightly difficult situation that I'm hoping an animal lover can come to understand and will be willing to help with. Let me start off by saying that "Whiskey" has wonderful characteristics and is an absolute love of a dog. He smiles ear to ear, wags his whole body when greeted, and is the best cuddler i've ever come to know. Truly, a sweetheart and it breaks my heart to say Whiskey has developed severe separation anxiety. Once left alone at home, he panics. He paces, salivates, cries and is destructive to my home. It is something we've dealt with for quite some time and am wanting to resolve this ongoing issue if at all possible without medication. I have been working on several exercises with him that we are (and ideally you as well!) trying to implement over the next few months in hopes that we wont necessarily need monday-friday daycare forever. He loves people and gets along with most other dogs (as long as they meet in a calm environment) but more than anything he really would need someone that can be his companion during Monday-Friday 8-5pm while I am at work). In a perfect world, this person would have an enclosed yard/large lot that he can get some exercise during the day in as well. Somewhere I can drop off either in Redwood City or San Francisco before work and pick up after. He loves to be outside,swim, fetch etc but as I said above, if taken to an open space where dogs tend to be rambunctious (ie: dog park) he tends to have nervous aggression. I am trying to find someone during the hours of 8-5 Monday through Friday and can afford 350.00 a month (20 days). I will hopefully be moving to this east bay by Summer time so this may be a temporary job. I know that this is a bit of a special case, and asking a lot but f you or someone you know would be a good fit with this, please let me know. Thank You, Kai
