Pet Sitter Job in Chico, California

Hi - I'm Kali and live in Chico, CA with my husband. We moved from Chicago to California in August so looking to establish some connections with safe animal lovers in the area for when we travel or are out of town for work. Most times we do try to keep our pets with us, but that's not always possible. See the below details for any current needs, I plan to keep this up to date. ***Who: We have 4 pets, 2 dogs and 2 guinea pigs, depending on the need, all or just some may need care. Izzy (MiniPinscher/Chihuahua): 7 years, dominant female, spayed, loves to cuddle, hesitant towards men Luca (Goldendoodle): 6 months, all puppy, love to play fetch, and eat things he shouldn't (bark) Freddy (Skinny Pig): 2 years old male guinea pig, very vocal and the brave one, loves hay and chin scratches Benjy (Guinea Pig): 2 years old male guinea pig, shy but cuddly, loves carrots ***Where: Chico, CA or surrounding areas for the right person ***How: Dogs would need to be somewhere other than our place. It may be possible to ease the stress on the guinea pigs that they just be checked in on at our place if we can identify someone who we can trust. ***When: Current need is for the weekend of Thanksgiving (24th - 28th) as we will be traveling out of country. Our biggest need is for our guinea pigs whose care is very specific and they require a bit more attention when it comes to feeding. Current guinea pig owners are a benefit. Our dogs would love a fenced in backyard to hang out in. I would like to note that it may not be ideal that all 4 end up together, though if they do it's a plus. So potentially we could need 2 different people. ***Why: Our animals are unique part of our family and we very much see them as that, not just pets. Great personable care is important to us, something major facilities may not offer. We hope to not have to worry while gone because we know our friends are with safe people.
