Pet Sitter Job in Bryan, Texas

I'm an
Individual
Hello! My name is Kennedy. My boyfriend and I will be going on a 2-week trip (from 7/7/19- ...). We are looking for someone to care for our Corgi (boarding/in-home). Overview: Lea is spunky, spirited and ENERGETIC. She loves to cuddle up for some one-on-one love but is easily distracted and always down to play! Lea is 2-years old and about 20lbs. Walking: Lea loves to be outside-- so a fenced yard is desirable but not required. When walking, a leash/harness is a MUST (will be provided). This little one will slip away at any opportunity. We are searching for someone that will take her for walks often but will also use caution and a close eye.  Side note: she will let out a little whine when she is ready to go out. She is potty trained, but I apologize if the new environment causes her to have an accident. Feeding: We will provide dog food/bowels/treats. Lea will eat her dog food periodically throughout the day but will also expect some of whatever you cook up for yourself (bad habit—sorry!). Sleeping: Lea will lounge around with you all day. She loves to be around people—so she will follow you wherever you go. At night, she prefers to cuddle up next to you in bed; therefore, the ideal sitter is someone who will allow her to do so. Other pets: As stated before, Lea is very energetic! She is not to be trusted around cats (she doesn’t intend to harm but will harass them to no end). Lea is okay around other dogs that are non-aggressive and are equally as energetic (she may be too hyper for those older, grumpy, or tired doggos). Therefore, the ideal sitter will only be caring for her and maybe one other spunky pup. Also, children—Lea would never be purposefully violent towards children but may get excited/jump on them/causes scratches/etc, so we ask that caution is used in that regard. We realize that Lea can be a hand-full to care for, so we appreciate your consideration. Ideally, the sitter will be responsible, patient, and loving. This little babe loves new people and will adapt well (she is easy-come, easy-go!). We know you will come to love her quirks as much as we do. We are looking to pay $500 for the 2 weeks that we will be gone. This is $250/week or $35/day. P.S. no kennels please Thank you in advance! Kennedy and Logan
