Pet Sitter Job in Elkhart, Iowa

About The Job: Hi there my name is Rachel, we are looking for someone trustworthy that can look after our animals while we are away. Typically we aren’t gone very often, and only a few days. We have Chickens, Turkeys, Rabbits, 2 cats and 4 dogs. Looking for someone to stop out twice a day to open/close coops, provide fresh feed and water once a day. We are in Elkhart, Iowa. Looking for someone comfortable around poultry, we have a friendly flock of Turkeys and Chickens. Our family is going on a short trip August 5th, returning August 9th. Service Requirements: Previous experience with livestock care, poultry experience preferred. Open/ Close coops (can be flexible on times, morning and before dark) Maintain fresh feed and water once a day. Feed/ Water and potty breaks for the dogs. Hours: Should only take 1-2 hours max per day, everything is very organized and easy to grab. Willing to pay a competitive rate per day rather than go on hourly to make it worth your time.
