Pet Sitter Job in Wytheville, Virginia

What I’m Looking For: Hello, my name is Virginia. I'm interviewing a dog sitter/dog feeder living in Wytheville, Virginia. I plan to chat with a wonderful person who has availability at least 3x a week. I have four dogs who need to be fed and let out to potty (and play time) for an hour or two everyday (midday, anywhere from 11 am to 1 pm). 3 of the dogs are German Shepherds, and one is a small senior chihuahua mix. I prefer someone who has experience working with large breed dogs. I also have a large 15-year-old cat, but other than maybe doing some litter box cleanup (if willing!), he is fine. The small dog may go out to potty with the bigger dogs as well, but she may want to wait until I get home. Fair warning: I also have 7 tarantulas. You DO NOT need to do anything with them. They are in a separate area, and you will probably never see them. But they are there. I’d prefer for potential candidates to meet my dogs first so that I can get an idea of the dynamic between everyone. I can meet out in a neutral location with the big dogs first, but the small dog will need to be an in-house visit, as she is very nervous and not great (very skittish) with new people. They are big powerful dogs (especially my two males), so they will need someone who has confidence in handling them, but also has a lot of patience. I am located in Southwest Virginia.
