I'm am currently a teacher in the South Bay area. However, I have taught overseas for the previous six years (South Korea, Spain, and Singapore), so I've tallied up many house/pet sitting experiences all over the world! Since I was a young child, my favorite thing in the world was to be around animals. Spending some time growing up on a farm, watching pups, foals, kids, chicks, and piglets being born, even assisting in some of the births myself, really set the stage for me to one day want to return to animal care. Yes it's a passion, but it has increasingly felt like more of a calling. I can handle all sorts of pets, no matter how playful, grouchy, sleepy, anxious, or down-right rambunctious they are. I am an all around animal lover, and I've never not enjoyed spending time with animals :) I am an ethical, responsible, and conscientious sitter; and I have scads of written and contactable references, too. I'm a road warrior, so depending on the House Sitting dates and agreed upon rate, I can travel a fair distance. Including the entire Bay Area and perhaps beyond.
