Hello! My name is Savannah Calado I am extremely interested in looking after your pets! I am in my 3rd year of the tourism management program at Capilano University and am eager to further participate and expand my skills by showcasing my independent leadership skills as assistance to your household. I have worked with and owned many animals and horses throughout my entire life. I am extremely knowledgeable about the behaviors, mannerisms, and the confident energy emitted by individuals that animals require in order to have positive experience that results in a happy pet. I have accomplished and passed all of the Petland University Courses on all of the household pets. I have a huge passion for all animals and adore educating others what incredible and teaching creatures they are. I am so fortunate that animal care brings me a huge sense of satisfaction and contentment. I love working in a person environment, so dog walking/sitting is a great addition to my journey of being confident in all aspects of animal care. My goals of working with new dogs is to expand my knowledge on animal care in terms of illnesses, first aid, and an overall expansion of the information I already know. I am constantly self educating and researching about pets through books, websites, videos, and interpersonal conversations with animal lovers. I also am an avid hiker, skier, and mountain biker pushing myself to conquer all the slopes in the north shore of Vancouver.
