I am a student at Fanshawe College in London. I am comfortable handling, and taking care of, fish, hamsters, rabbits, gerbils, Guinea pigs, chinchillas, mice, rats, ferrets or any other critter. I have never owned any reptiles or birds but I am also comfortable with handling and taking care of them. Keep in mind that I will probably have to walk/bike to your house, so please check if you are close to me, however I will have a bus pass starting September so I my range of transportation will increase.
I decided to take up pet sitting because I love animals and thought it will be a fun way to earn extra money. I'm not planning on getting a job until after I finish school so I thought this will be a nice way to earn some money.

Anne-Marie took care of our 5 guinea pigs in our London, ON home on a recent 10 day trip to California. We had not met Anne-Marie before but after the first meeting and seeing how enthusiastic she was for our piggies, and based on the good questions that she asked, we felt very comfortable leaving her with a key to our home and being fully responsible for their care. She had all 5 names memorized after her first visit! She checked in with us every day online, sending us pictures and videos of them. She even went to the store to buy more pellets when we ran out. We felt very reassured that they were being well taken care of. We hope that Anne-Marie is available to take care of them on future trips. We would not hesitate to recommend Anne-Marie as a pet sitter for your family's animals.
