Job Description: Hello my name is Carey. I am looking for dog boarding for one dog in your home from August 24 - September 9. Ainsley is a 10.5 year old American Staffordshire Terrier (Pit Bull). She is just under 45 lbs, so a medium sized dog, but definitely small for her age. She is a couch potato and is happiest when snuggling up while you read a book or watch TV. She does not need much exercise - just three 15-20 minute walks per day, sometimes four when it is really hot and she drinks a lot of water. She eats twice per day. She is also crate-trained (and I can provide the crate) if you prefer that she sleep there at night. However, if you would like a bed companion, she will happily comply! She is fully licensed and vaccinated and require no medications. She does tend to pull on walks, so a firm hand is needed, but we have a special leash that helps. She is great with all people, but cannot be around other animals - she does not like other dogs and can be quite leash aggressive, and she sees cats, squirrels, rabbit, and other small animals as things she would like to catch. However she is HIGHLY food motivated, so fairly easy to distract with treats. Please reach out by email if you are interested in this job.
