Pet Sitter in Chuckey, Tennessee

Animals are my life. I work full time as a Veterinary Receptionist in Jonesborough. I have 3 chihuahuas (1 long haired, and 2 short haired) and 4 rescue cats, 2 stray cats , and a Solomon Island Eclectus. I have extensive knowledge and experience with all types of animals, as well as pet sitting for over 15 years. This is not only something I do on the side, but taking care of animals is my calling. Dog sitting gives me the opportunity to meet all kinds of new personalities and put owners at ease knowing that their animal is taken care of and in the comfort of their own home, eliminating stress and discomfort. I also do boarding in my home - small dogs only anytime in-between Friday evening and Monday morning. Due to having my own pets, and my preferences in not crating animals, I prefer to be home while boarding. All animals that board in my home must be up to date on vaccinations and Bordatella, as well as current on flea and heartworm prevention. Being around animals my whole life gave me the knowledge and ability to read body language, dialect, recognize distress / illness, and determine restlessness. I also work in an environment that provides continuous education. Activities with your animal would be based on breed type and their favorite exercise. Above all, I treat all animals like my own, spoiled rotten! I prefer the owners to give me a list of their daily routines, favorite toys and activities, and any special care. I am open to any other tasks such as mail retrieval and light housekeeping. I am available mornings before 7:30, lunch time (between 12-2), and after 6 pm Tuesday through Friday, and free on Saturday through Monday. Depending on owner preference, most drop in visits are anywhere from 30 mins to 1 hour. Walking would be about 5 - 15 minutes with extra time to play of course!
