Pet Sitter in Placentia, California

I have varied experience with all kinds of animals except for reptiles and fish. I am comfortable with small to medium size dogs, friendly cats, friendly birds of most species, although I have a patient approach with parrots especially because they inherently don't trust people most of the time and it is rare to find a bird who meets a stranger that does. I talk to them and ease into any kind of handling because birds are an awful lot like humans. One wouldn't hug a person strange to them on first meeting without a proper introduction. I have five parrots and all of them I can touch and handle except for my Bogie who prefers kisses only. He will step up only if he's flown to the ground and he lets me pick him up that way. My newest bird, Venus is nearly 40 years old and she is very sweet and I can't wait until she let's me take her out for outings. It's only been a few days and she lets me scratch her neck and give her kisses. Like I said above, I've got a lot of experience with many different species of animals. I am especially fond of ferrets and birds.
