Hi: My name is Michelle. I have owned, bred, raised and shown many different breeds of dogs & horses. I was a junior handler in the show ring, earning International Champion with Great Pyrenees and a Skye Terrier. I grew up on a small piece of land in a farming community where we had many other animals as pets, a goat, domestic geese, a lamb, bunnies, wild ducks, Polled Herford steer, horses, dogs and cats. I have always had at least one dog who was my constant companion. I spend every spare moment with them. When I am not home for a few hours, they are always on my mind. With kids grown, the dogs have taken their place! I take them to the corner store where they get a beef jerky, to the woods when I walk and fishing when I can. I love spending time with my canine companions and enjoy every minute I can spend with them. My Zen moment is when I can sit on the couch after running all day and cuddle, scratch ears, and tell them about my day! I have raised German Shepards, Great Pyrenees, Cocker Spaniels, Australian Shepards and Dobermans. Raising two litters of Cocker Spaniels was one of my biggest challenges. It required thinking out of the box since I was raising them inside and I was the only one here most the time. Getting tired of cleaning up so much litter, I trained the entire litter as one, to go potty outside! Then I trained them to come and sit as a group. When I needed to move them from one place to another, I used a clothes basket as a cho choo train. I loaded them all in the basket then either dragged or pushed them to their next destination. They loved it and it gave me a great laugh every time we used the "train". I also have house sitting experience. I can water the garden, pick the peas, weed if needed, mow the yard, turn on lights, switch the blinds, bring in the mail, take trash to the curb, give the dog a bath. Depending on what you need and expect, I am willing to help you enjoy your time away by doing anything you have on your list.
