Who I Am: My name is Ellen and I love animals. I have grown up surrounded by them and since 2015, I've worked at an animal shelter in Hamden, CT. I am also the solo head and founder of Hand-in-Paw, a community service club that seeks to provide relief for the isolated and emotionally malnourished rescued animals. Since its inception, I have lead this club in providing care by, but not limited to, weekly visits to the shelter, hosting and organizing fundraisers and drives, and more.
