Pet Sitter in Clear Lake Shore, Texas

Hello everyone! My name is Tess, I was a veterinary assistant/technician for 3 years and haven't met an animal I really don't enjoy! They each have unique traits and qualities that make them special! I work out of Kemah, Clear Lake Shores and the surrounding areas, so if you need a dedicated and loving pet-sitter, you've found the right place! I was nominated for Nurse of the Year by my lead doctor and practice manager at Banfield after only 7 months of working there and was a finalist among thousands of nurses. *If there is an emergency with me, I do have backup pet-sitters, so your pets never go without care! At a very young age it became apparent I was going to be more connected with animals than others. They've always been drawn to me and any animal I talk to, generally will prance right up to me like it's no big deal.I have raised/rehabilitated rabbits, chickens, ducks, a calf, an albino peacock, a squirrel, and a fawn. I've also cared for/pet-sat sick cats and dogs (renal failure, diabetes, hyperthyroidism, stress, separation anxiety, etc), leopard geckos (babies to adults), bearded dragons (sick and healthy), pythons/boa constrictors (sick and healthy), turtles, several woodpeckers, mockingbirds, doves and robins. I have also hand raised a litter of baby raccoon (due to their mother being shot and the hunter had no idea she had a litter of pups) for a wild animal rehabilitation non-profit called WildCare, where once they're wild and know how to fend for themselves, we release them back onto private farms that the owners are gracious enough to let us release on. I am comfortable with giving all medications/force feeding/administering fluid/feeding schedules/walking schedules, etc. You name it and I'm probably trained to do it! I will treat your pets as if they were my own (and mine are like my kids). I have a loyal client base in Bloomington that I'm looking to expand. I require an initial consultation/meet and greet, this visit is free and is just to be able for me to get to know you and your pets in their normal environment at least one time before I will pet-sit. I like to get to know you, your pet and what is expected of me, alarm systems, contact information, etc. I like to take notes of any preferences and I also require I have your vet's phone number (although I have a list of every vet in Bloomington in my Critter Sitter Scheduling Calendar)!
