Pet Sitter in Cedar Falls, Iowa

Hello! My name is Erin, and I am a junior here at the University of Northern Iowa. I am a double major in Business Administration and Biology with my hopes on attending Medical School after next year. On the side, I am very involved in campus activities and running half and full marathons. Currently I work at Western Home Community as an elderly caregiver; however, I have extensive knowledge with animals. With my past intentions to become a veterinarian, I have great experiences in the field and have become very trained in most breeds. I worked at Taylor Veterinary Hospital for a year and half as a kennel assistant and directly with the doctors. Here, I was in charge of caring for animals, either those who recently had surgery or those just needing a place to stay, independently along with medications. I got the opportunity to assist in general animal check-ups, treatments, x-rays, sutures, and surgeries. Besides this, I have worked at a farm in my home town with horses and training young children to ride. A lot of other hands-on care was achieved with the other livestock present on the farm. This, along with my many personal pets (ranging from various fowl to reptiles to basic house pets!), has made me a well-qualified candidate for any animal care service. I have loved working with animals, and I do not want that to stop. Please let me know if you ever need any assistance with your own animals or need someone to watch them while out of town!
