Hello, My name is Daphne. I am an energetic young and mature 51 yr old Nona. I am independant and live a quiet life with my little pom-chi Fonzie. My last corporate job was with Canada's top airline. I left in 2015 to help raise my one and only grand daughter when my daughter went back to work after maternity leave. With her in school now, I have decided not to go back to the desk but continue work on a more personal level. I love spending time with my grand daughter, crafting, cooking, board games and singing are just a few of our favourite pastimes. She's as big of an animal lover ad I am so we both love spending time with the Fonz at parks and on walks. I've had dogs all my life and have been training over for over 30 years already! Wow time flies! I decided to get my certification and did so in 2009. I prefer private training sessions opposed to classes as it allows me to dedicate the session on one family at a time. I do organized pack walks on and off leash, and have had clients who require daily pet care when they are away. I have been living in a low rise apt building in the Beltline for a few years now, and am approved to pet sit in my home. Of course I am open to sitting in your home as well. I have references and the last police clearance I passed was September 2017. I am happy to walk, sit, visit, train, socialize, groom, or drop by to feed & clean the yard or litter. Maybe its just about a snuggle and spending time - a social visit. I am comfortable administering medications to dogs or cats and give great massages to elderly pets. I'm open to talk about whatever your needs may be. I am an animal love and comfortable with all breeds and ages of dog (or cat). I do have some experience with some rodents, lizards/snakes, and am happy to learn about what kind of care your pet may need. I have a freshwater aquarium so am familiar with caring for one . Although I'm not well versed in saltwater tanks, with your instruction I am happy care for yours. If your in need of a house sitter I am happy to care for any part of your home that requires attention to keep it running as if you were there! Things such as watering plants, taking in mail, filling the bird feeders or shoveling snow are all chores that need to be done when your away, and none are off my list.
