Pet Sitter in Lewistown, Pennsylvania

I am a retiring teacher who now prefers pets over pupils. I have experience with all sizes and breeds of dogs as I have been the "go to person" for all of my friends through the years. I am a caring person who wants both you and your pet to be comfortable. I know that it was hard for me to leave my sad faced dog to go to work each day knowing she would be bored. Even harder was the thought of putting her in a crowded, impersonal kennel when we travelled. My goal is to provide the kind of care that will have your pet begging to return to my house (or not wanting to leave) while permitting you to work or travel, guilt and worry free, knowing that your beloved pet is being treated to a wonderful vacation of his or her own. I have clearances and tons of patience (I taught junior high) and I hope to have insurance and to be bonded shortly. I am available for daily visits and walks, as well as overnight, weekly, and longer stays in combination with house-sitting duties. I also do doggie daycare and board within my home. I am willing to provide play time, belly rub time and whatever else your furry family member needs to make it through the hours until you get home. I have owned a dog my entire life. We had to put down my beloved dog, Jenna, in November 2017, and I don't want to get another one as I plan on selling my home and traveling in a few years. Dog sitting is a way to supplement my retirement income, but more than that, it is a way for me to feed my need to be near a doggie pal every day. My feeling is that dogs are family, and I promise that I will treat your best friend like a member of my family! I also provide services for your feline friends. I am able to provide daily visits, litter refreshment or complete changing, as well as feeding and watering. However, due to allergies, I do not board cats in my home. After meeting your cat and determining my allergy level, I would be happy to provide overnight services in your home. I love cats! Unfortunately, their dander doesn't always love me.
