As a professor, currently teaching only one course online, Hollie is at home, dogsitting 24/7. Joe isn't as lucky, and he has to leave each day to run a department at a large university in Raleigh. Poor Joe. Hollie has a lot more fun. Together, we use our 30 years of experience caring for dogs to provide quality care both overnight and in doggy daycare in our home. We offer a loving home where nothing is off limits unless you say it is. We offer outside breaks and playtime every 1-2 hours and daily walks to keep energetic dogs happy, as well as plenty of photo/video updates to give mom and dad peace of mind and a chuckle or two. When the playing is done, and cuddling or napping is in order, Hollie's lap is always available, or your pup can find his/her own private space among the 3,000 sq feet in the Barkmore House, or enjoy the sunshine on the screened-in patio or deck on the giant, custom lounging pillows made just for our guests; this is a favorite pastime of Barkmore House residents. With Hollie home all day, the three dogs we board overnight have their own full-time recreation director to play ball with them, take them on walks, and hide their stuffies. We even celebrate birthday parties when doggies turn another year old (or is that 7 years older)?
