Pet Sitter in Woodstock, Georgia

Please allow me to introduce myself. I'm a 58 year young, recently unemployed female who has lost my job due to company downsizing. I was an Administrative Assistant for Retail Properties of America for eleven years. I'm an AVID animal lover and have owned one or more dogs since I was a small child, but I've also owned chickens and ducks as well. My husband and I currently have only one 11 year old dog who is our baby. We do not have children. If it were up to me, we would have more than one, but my hubby is against the idea due to the expense of taking proper vet care of our one baby (i.e. teeth cleaning, and lump removals) which can be very expensive. My mailing address is Woodstock, Georgia but we actually live at the "intersection" of Cherokee County, Roswell, and Marietta. I'm not far from Alpharetta. Our baby, Vera, is also a rescue from Mostly Mutts, and I'm a firm believer in adoption rather than buying from a "pet store" which I find deplorable. At one point in our lives, we had a Standard Poodle named Sadie Belle, an adopted Pitt Bull mix named Destiny Rose, a pedigreed German Shepherd named Royal Cody, and a pedigreed Dachshund named Sir Maxwell of Walton. We all co-existed together in the same house hold, although the two big dogs, stayed outside during the day. They came inside at night but weren't happy inside. Nothing in this world makes me happier than a dog or two or ten (as long as they don't fight one another). I've told my mom and my girlfriends that there may come a day when I do not have a man in my life, but I will ALWAYS have at least one dog in my life. No truer words have ever been spoken. I'm a non-smoker who will take good care of your home without having company over when overnights are required, and I don't mind cleaning up "accidents" if/when those occur. Goodness knows, I've cleaned up more of those in my lifetime than I could even begin to count. Thanks for reading my application.
