Pet Sitter Job in Plattsburgh, New York

Hi, my name is Maria. Here is my situation: I'm going out of town for about 12 days. I have 2 cats -- senior cats (one is almost 15 years old, and the other is about 11 years old). I will be boarding them at the Adirondack Pet Lodge in Plattsburgh (like I have always done in the past). BUT, I also need someone who will visit them there 2x a day for this one specific purpose: TO CLEAN THEIR LITTER BOXES. Because they are old cats their kidneys are failing, and each of them uses the box very frequently. A lot of pee-ing! (At home I clean each of their boxes multiple times, due to their frequent urination). The cat boarding-house offers standard services (place to sleep, feeding, and once or twice-a-day box cleaning). My cats' litter boxes need EXTRA times of cleaning, and so I am looking to employ someone who would and could do that job. I am looking for someone who: *genuinely likes and cares about cats *not averse to the task of litter box cleaning *reliable -- will show up as agreed, and do tasks as agreed *has valid driver's license and reliable transportation Fresh litter, vinyl gloves, even dust masks if you so choose to use them, brown paper bags and plastic bags, and paper towels will be provided for you. The staff at the Pet Lodge will show you where my supplies are. They have a sink there for you to sanitize your hands after. I will instruct them to expect your visits to my cats. Let me reiterate: your only job is to clean my cats' boxes during your visits of two times daily. Feeding and watering is the Pet Lodge's responsibility (though they should also clean my cat's boxes!). Nothing else is expected of you but to come twice a day -- at around 8AM, and then around 5PM -- and clean/refill my cats' litter boxes (they have one box each). I am offering for this job $20 plus $3 gas surcharge per day, for a total of $23 per day, for at least 12 days. I can give half of the total fee up front, and the remaining half when I return home.
