Pet Sitter Job in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Our family is planning a short trip after Christmas (Dec 26-27) and needs someone to look after our pet beagle Zoey. She is 13 years old, well-behaved and affectionate, at least to people. Unfortunately, she does not get along with other dogs and so requires a home where she will be the only canine. We adopted Zoey from a shelter when she was 5. Her family had to give her up because they were moving into an apartment that did not allow pets. Her big brown eyes, soft fur and gentle disposition have won the hearts of all our friends and family. She is housebroken and generally respectful of personal property (though we avoid leading her into temptation by keeping our trash cans covered). Her hobbies include sleeping, eating and sniffing the ground. She also enjoys regular walks and will try to make friends with any squirrels she sees, so far without success. She is also a very social dog and, while she can be left alone, is much happier when someone is in the house, or even better in the same room and within petting distance. Zoey has been with dog sitters before and has always been welcome to come back. Her regular sitter left the area a few months ago, and we are now looking for someone to take her place.
