Hello! I just moved to Missoula and am searching for someone who can make drop-in visits for my two green cheek conures for an upcoming trip, 11-14-11.... I'm looking for someone who has some experience with birds and their care to be able to stop by at least twice a day to make sure the birds have water, food, and to let them out of their cages for at least an hour. Both birds are very sweet and tame and will be delighted to see a human.
Pay is negotiable, I really want someone who is knowledgeable and comfortable with birds who will be comfortable letting them out and handling them, who can clean their cage every other day or so, and who will be able to recognize any signs of illness/injury as birds tend to hide distress. Clean water is paramount to bird health (and my birds like to soak their food in water) so they will need visited at least twice a day.
