Hello, my name is Shade! I live in Portland and I have personal and professional experience in dog, cat, rodent, fish, insect, reptile, and amphibian care. I currently do animal care full-time via Rover and I have personal clients as well. I am looking to further my pet care and training experience and provide folks with loving and knowledgeable care for their pets. Before I started my pet care business, I was working at a dog training facility as an assistant trainer to puppies ages 8 weeks to 16 months. Prior to that, I had worked in doggy daycares, groomed both cats and dogs, and worked at a pet store caring for all of the animals which included administering vaccines, aquarium and tank maintenance for fish, reptiles, amphibians, insects, and rodents, and keeping them all happy and fed. I have experience caring for senior and disabled animals, and administering medications including insulin as well. I am happy to provide reviews from clients upon request.
