Pet Sitter in Fort Collins
Hi! My name is Darby Collins, and I am a senior at Colorado State University studying Biology. I love to hike, mountain bike, read, and hang out with friends and family. I have always loved animals and wanted to be a veterinarian until my sophomore year of college, when I switched to pre-med. However, I still love all kinds of animals, and have a lot of experience taking care of them. I have been pet sitting for about 8 years now. I dog sat for one family for 6 years, and cat sit for another family that I began working with in 2008. I have also taken many random Pet Sitting Jobs taking care of dogs, cats, reptiles, amphibians, and chickens. I rode horses consistently for about 6 years, and still love to ride horses whenever I get the opportunity. I grew up having dogs, cats, rabbits, and hamsters and understand the irreplaceable position that animals add to the family. I am extremely comfortable around all kinds of animals. I volunteered at the Fort Collins Cat Rescue Spay and Neuter Clinic, where I learned how to feed, water, clean, and deliver medications to the animals. I also helped prepare the animals for surgery. I also love working with children, and people in general. I am friendly, enthusiastic, responsible, trustworthy, and dependable. I have a fairly flexible schedule this semester as I am taking less credits than usual. I also have my own car, which is extremely helpful in transportation to Pet Sitting Jobs. Since the college house I live in currently does not allow pets, I truly miss coming home to be welcomed by a friendly, furry face. I would love to get the chance to know and care for your pets while they are missing you! Thank you for your time and consideration!
