I have loved and cared for animals since I was a child. My first pet was a dog, Sammy, a bright and cheerful poodle who needed some help feeling comfortable with other people. Even as a kid, I felt responsible for helping him overcome his insecurities in order for him to live a happier, fuller life. He did. Then I adopted 2 rabbits and 2 guinea pigs, all of whom I made sure lived a life free of cages and constraints. I've always had the ability to put myself in an animal's position, which made it very hard to feel at peace in my own life while an innocent creature that depended on me for its survival was locked up inside a cage. My current pets are Logan, a crazy affectionate rag doll cat; Lukas, an emotional and sensitive Sharpei; Caesar, a loving and endearing Pug; and Kiara, a playful and dominant Chow Chow. They are the love of my life. It gives me great peace and joy to know that they are as happy as they could possibly be. Allow me the opportunity to bring as much happiness to your pets as I have to mine. Apart from taking care of my own pets, I also have 7 years of experience caring for others'. I am always the first person my friends call when they have health-related questions about their little guys/girls or need me to take care of them part-time/full-time because they'll be away from home. As a side note, I am a licensed language teacher with a BA in Education, Bilingual (English/Spanish), and have over 6 years of experience teaching students of various ages, nationalities and backgrounds. I am also a licensed translator and interpreter. Honestly though, my first and foremost passion in life is animals. They are the one constant that always brings me joy, and caring for them is the one job that never really feels like a job, because it just makes me feel so happy and fulfilled when doing so.
