Hello, my name is Rachel and I have lived in Virginia for 14 years. I have four children ranging from 26-9 years old, and have been a home school mom for 20 years. Over this time we have had a lot of pets. Dogs, cats, gerbils and a rabbit. They all lived long healthy lives. Now we are beginning again with 2 Chihuahua's, with my nine year old. We are planning on breeding them. I feel it is important for children to be around a pet, to learn to take care of its needs, to watch it grow, help train it and have fun with it. We have many wonderful stories of pets we have had over the years as a family. I wanted my children to know that pets are part of the family, they are not disposable, and they deserve to have a safe place to be cared for their entire life. One characteristic I have is when I do anything, I do it wholeheartedly and with excellence. I care deeply about children and animals, probably because they are innocent and dependent on someone to care for them. I have a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education and feel blessed to not only have had the opportunity to educate my children through high school at home, but also teach Sunday School for the past ten years at our church and home school co-op here in Virginia. This is my life's calling and I embrace it. I hope you can see that I have a heart to care for and love animals, I will be respectful of how you want your pet cared for and I will be there when you need me. Your pet will be safe in my care, and loved and treated great.
