Hello. I am a wife and mother of the loveliest three-year-old boy in the world. Our family is new to Bath where we moved to because we want to raise our son in a bucolic environment. His father and I have lived in cities since we were married 14 years ago. Bath offers us the country life and the near-by MSU offers world class learning opportunities, family activities, and cultural programming. We bought our home in Bath, which is ample for the three of us, and our property has a large backyard for our son to play and explore. I am looking for ways to generate streams of income to help the family finances as my husband, despite an MFA, experience teaching at the college level, talent and strong work ethic, simply does not make enough money to fully support us. House sitting and pet sitting are jobs I have done in the past, enjoyed, and met great people. I would like to have the opportunity to this again. I love animals and they seem to like me, I've cared for dogs, big and small, cats, birds, fish, and horses. I have experience house sitting and pet sitting while the owners are away or incredibly busy at work for a short time. Just this year our two cats, which had been with me since before I got married, were elderly and ill, the veterinarian recommended we put them down. It was very difficult for all of us, even for my little boy when he realized they were not coming home. I know from my own experience how two cats can win a big place in your heart and after ten years they are as important as any other member of the family, human or otherwise. Our pets have many of the same needs we do, they need love and affection, a good diet, exercise, entertainment, and like my young son, they also need cuddling and to be tucked in at night.
