Hello, My name is Kristen and pets are my passion. I have been involved with animals and animal rescue my entire life. I am experienced in caring for all types of pets and large animals, alike. My experience includes work with dogs, cats, horses, donkeys, cows, goats, and even chickens! I have some medical experience and canine and horse training experience. In my younger years, I bred, raised, and trained Quarter Horses and provided riding lessons to children. I currently have 4 St. Bernard mix dogs and 5 house cats that are the light of my life! I was involved in canine training with the PA State Police several years ago. I have dependable transportation and a clean criminal record. I have lived at the same location for about 15 years and raised 3 daughters. I am not easily intimidated by animals. If you show them love and trust, they will respond positively. I am a firm believer in positive reinforcement and do not use physical punishment... EVER! Voice and body language are the most important motivators for all, especially dogs.
