Pet Sitter Job in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Hi! I am booking a pet sitter with experience caring for rabbits in Minneapolis, Minnesota. My goal is to find a knowledgeable and tender person with availability for this upcoming Fourth of July weekend. I would prefer house visits for the first sitting gig— if all goes well and Kiwi, my baby Netherland Dwarf feels comfy with you, we can chat about future day/overnight sitting gigs! Kiwi is extremely playful and sweet, and is not a biter— though she does get attitude and thumps if you get all up in her hutch! She adores playing and is 90% litter trained (she has occasional accidents due to her age, but we have plenty of cleaning supplies). She is spayed. Service Requirements: Kiwi would benefit from feeding (replenishing hay daily and pellets), facilitating exercise in the apartment, hutch and accident wipe-downs if necessary, and cleaning her litter box daily. Ideally, you have personal transportation available, though we are located next to a parking garage and are a short 8-min walk from a Light Rail station. The perfect candidate would have some relevant prior experience, but it isn’t mandatory to apply so long as you’ve at least done your research on rabbit needs. Notes On Availability: For this first gig, at least once-a-day visits for 2.5 hours per day, July 3 to 6, 2020. We could meet on the 2nd to drop off keys and care instructions. Covid-19 Precautions: Please wear a mask when entering and exiting our building (though you do not have to wear one while sitting). Wash your hands upon arrival and before departing the apartment! Make sure to wipe down surfaces you’ve touched in the apartment prior to leaving. We’ve also got disinfectant spray to use if you’d like to spray the couch or anywhere you may sit.
