I have many years of experience sitting for different breeds of pooches, from Dachshunds and Jack Russell's, to Labs and Boxers. I have even raised a few more exotic pets like sugar gliders, ferrets, and hedgehogs. My family also has close to twenty years of breeding German Shepherds with many of their pups going to assist law enforcement agencies. I have put in many volunteer hours at a few animal shelters I have come across. I understand that peace of mind while you are away is very important. By using me as a pet sitter, you will not have to impose on friends or neighbors and your house will be visited frequently for a lived in feel. Pets who require medication or specialized attention will benefit, your pets will stay on their regular diet and routine. Tell us about your history with dogs. I have had dogs with me my entire life! Some of the earliest pictures my mom has of me show me curled up on top of Beau (Australian Shepherd). Beau was with me through the first 17 years of life, and I had many other furry companions along the way as well. I'm a huge animal lover and get no greater join than when I'm spending time with them. Do you have any breed preferences? All shapes and sizes welcome here! Available to sit for dogs, cats, or any other creature you love. I do ask that they are friendly around other animals. Do you have reliable transportation in the event of an emergency? I do have a vehicle and I'm available for pick-ups and drop-offs as well as out call visits to your home. There are several animals hospitals very nearby. How much time do you plan on spending with my dog each day? As much as is needed. I understand each pup will have a different level of affection they'll require. There is virtually never a time there isn't someone home here so there will be no worry of boredom or full bladders. I live in an apartment complex with multiple doggie bin receptacles. Desert Breeze park is also a short 10 minute walk away from where I live where some great features your K-9 friend will enjoy, when weather allows. There is also a near by elementary school with a large fenced field which is great for playing ball! Where will my dog sleep? I enjoy cuddling on the couch with my animals and I would invite yours to climb up too, with your permission. I have a nice sized sectional I'm not too worried about in the living room; there is also a very comfy loveseat in my room. I see no reason why they can't sleep somewhere that comfy too. I also have access to large sized dog kennels for use in both transporting and sleeping if needed or requested. Where will you take my dog on walks? I have the privilege of having several options for walks. I live very close to the Desert Breeze Dog Park and it is a good place to go burn of some energy. There is also an elementary school nearby with a nice large field to play ball in. When the weather isn't great or we just need a quick potty break we'll take about a 20 minute walk around the apartment grounds. waste is disposed of responsibly. I currently have a work at home position in my 2 bed room apartment located near Durango and Desert Inn, Just a quick 10-15 minute walk away from Desert Breeze Park. I am also trying to get enrolled for classes this coming semester so I'm hoping this will be a good way to earn money while still enjoying myself and helping others.
