I am an Animal Health Technologist with 27 years experience and I would like to offer you a professional and dependable service with a ton of love, devotion and affection for your pets. Services offered: * initial consultation (no charge) * daily exercise and socialization in a safe, fun and relaxing environment * feeding special diets (if applicable) * companionship thoroughout the evening * medications (if needed) * bathing (if needed for those muddy play times) * light house cleaning * daily reports by email or text messages (if desired) * daily cat box cleaning * toe nail trimming (if requested) * water plants * mail and newspaper retrieval * pocket pets and/or reptiles are welcome as well The initial consultation is a chance for all of us to meet -- you, your pets, and me. During this time, we will discuss the services I offer and such things as your pets daily routine, medications, feeding, exercise, etc. I will have a short form for you to fill out, pick up your key, and more. Why take your pet to a boarding kennel, which can cause stress and trama, when I can easily and happily provide professional loving care in their own environment with very reasonable rates and provide you with peace of mind to enjoy your trip. I am insured and bonded as I can understand how difficult it is to find an honest and dependable person you can trust in your home to care for your animals. You will find I am honest, dependable and committed to provide the best possible care for your pets and I absolutely have references available for you to speak with. Rates are slightly dependant on the distance from UVIC. I work Tuesday thru Saturday at the University. This means, as with any working family, the pets are alone during the day but I will be there after 4pm every day. I also have a very well behaved, small, neutered, 5 yr. old ShihTzu. He is very adaptable to his environment and will happily play with your pets or leave them alone if that's what they prefer. * $35/night if within 10 km from UVIC * $40/night if over 10 km from UVIC If you are looking for a 24 hr/day service I would be happy to discuss the possibility as it is available with enough notice. * $70/night I strive to provide the best experience for your pets while your away and I look forward to meeting you and your pets.
