About Me: Hey my name is Samantha. I am an RVT of 11 years. I recently left my clinic to take a break from the veterinary healthcare world and focus more on my family. Because of how much I love my job, and the animals I work with, I was finding work/home life balance very difficult to maintain! So I took a step back. But two weeks in I missed my patients like crazy! Services And Training: I graduated from a two year technician program in 2010. I started my career as an RVT shortly after, and have been working in general practice and mixed animal practice since. Meaning, I either worked with dogs and cats, or dogs/cats/pocket pets. During that time, I found I needed a little more, and started doing relief work (contract work) at an emergency clinic. I’ve always enjoyed emergency medicine but could never commit to the overnight hours. So the contract work gave me the little bit extra I was craving! I am comfortable with all types of animal health/diseases/husbandry. If you have a special needs pets, I’m your girl! Medication is absolutely not a problem, as I have a dog on life long medication myself. Rates will vary depending on services required.
