Pet Sitter Job in Lubbock, Texas

My family was passed along a terrier mix stray that my aunt found in Phoenix AZ. My family in Dallas tried to take her in, but they didn’t have time for her with their work schedule and the other animals they have. I really love this dog and I don’t want her to be given away, so I really want to have her come live with me in Lubbock because I know I can give her all the love and care she needs. I am currently living on campus in a dorm (I am not allowed to have a pet). I have no ability to take the dog until the summer is over and I am living off campus in Lubbock this fall. I really need someone to watch her from now until I move in in August. I know this is a extremely long amount of time to watch a dog, especially a dog that used to be a stray and needs extra help, but I would be willing to pay generously and provide all food, and equipment she needs. Her name is Betsy and is a very adorable, loving and sweet dog. She has been spayed and has her shots (rabies included). I am not sure how she acts around children, but she is good around my sister, parents, and other dogs both large and small. She acts like she has been trained very well, but she does seem like she has spent some time living in an alley and may have been abused when she was younger. Even with this past, she is just a very, very sweet little lap dog. Please let me know if you can do anything at all!
