About Me: Hi there, my name is Mara and I have 14 years experience as a veterinary assistant. I have 2 years of pet-sitting experience with dogs, cats, rabbits and pigs, as well as hobby farms with goats and chickens. I have always been passionate about working with and loving all kinds of animals! I can do short visits, long visits, or overnight stays at your house or hobby farm. I'm based in Gainesville but happy to travel for an overnight job, depending on length. Description of Skills: I have worked as a veterinary assistant in an emergency clinic which involved feeding, cleaning and walking animals as well as helping with veterinary procedures and administering medications. As a pet-sitter I have taken care of feeding and walking dogs, cleaning kitty litter boxes and other messes, administering medications and giving affection. I've also been responsible for feeding, milking, and exercising goats, and making sure all the chickens are in for the night.
