I've loved animals for as long as I can remember! I got my first pet (a rabbit) about 25 years go, and I have never been without a pet since then. Over the years our family has had cats, dogs, hamsters, parrots, parakeets, a rabbit, a guinea pig, few turtle doves & cockatiels, and of course fish. A few things to know about me:
1) I have never met a cat or dog that I don't fall in love with instantly. Some friends refer to me as the animal whisperer.
2) I have a soft spot for the "ugly" or "unloveable" pets because they deserve just as much love and attention.
3) I am fiercely protective of all animals and cannot understand how people can be cruel to animals.
