Hello! I am Kayden a recent graduate from Colorado State University in December 2019 with a degree in Conservation Biology. I can provide dog walking and pet sitting services in the area of Jupiter and Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. I am caring and detail orientated. I offer flexible scheduling for clients at the convenience of their own home. A little bit about myself, my family has two chihuahuas rescues who I trained to go outside and sit on command. While at university, I volunteered for five years with animal husbandry at Fort Collins Museum of Discovery, caring for freshwater fish, arthropods, amphibians, reptiles, and rats. I was responsible for habitat upkeep, enrichment, feeding, handling, and supervised exercise for certain animals. During my time I also socialized young geckos and litters of juvenile rats for the educational programs. Alongside the museum, I volunteered for one year as a medical technician at Fort Collins Cat Rescue and assisted with intake exams, administering medications & injections, bathing cats for intake, and feeding. Prior to university, I volunteered at a local horse stable, Wandering Trails, for five years. I learned proper grooming techniques, feeding, and tackle. In tandem, I had additional volunteer experience at ABCDE Animal Clinic for four years; assisting with boarding services, shadowing surgeries, and assisting in examinations. While in High School, I provided pet sitting services for a dog who had undergone double knee surgery and was responsible for their care throughout the recovery. The owner had five dogs total and the dog who had undergone the surgery was my priority. I administered medications, prepared breakfast and dinner for the dogs, kept the house meticulously clean, and assured the post-op patient was comfortable; the dog was often found cuddled in my lap during our downtime together. For two years while in high school, I volunteered at Safe Habour in Jupiter and assisted with dog walking and regular housekeeping for the nonprofit.
